The video of Father Mbaka insulting Peter Obi at the altar has gone viral on social media.
In the video, the founder of Adoration Ministries in Enugu, whose full name is Ejike Camillus Anthony Ebenezer Mbaka, can be heard calling the former Anambra State Governor a stingy man.
Mbaka is furious with Peter Obi, according to multiple Twitter users, because he declined to donate to his church during the bazaar in 2019.
In the now viral footage, Mbaka, who is one of the most prominent religious leaders in the south-eastern part of Nigeria, said Peter Obi can’t be Nigeria’s President because he’s stingy.
While speaking to the congregation on the altar, Mbaka said, “A stingy man cannot be our president; we are very very hungry. We need a generous person.”
On Tuesday, June 14, almost three years after apologizing for disparaging Peter Obi’s personality during Bazaar, he made this comment.
Last year, Father Mbaka also criticized President Muhammadu Buhari and asked him to resign. In response, the presidency said the man of God was upset with the president because he refused to give him a contract.
