FIFA Bans Abuja Stadium From Hosting International Matches

Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja has been barred from holding international matches by FIFA.

The international governing body of association football (FIFA) has banned Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.

Following the pitch invasion during the Nigeria-Ghana match, FIFA issued an indefinite ban on Moshood Abiola National Stadium Abuja hosting international matches.

The stadium hosted Ghana in a 2022 Fifa World Cup play-off second-leg.

The ban on the Moshood Abiola National Stadium of Nigeria is a big disgrace to the country.

However, because someone died as a result of the invasion, many Nigerians on Twitter are calling on FIFA to do more.
