During the first half of the game at Prague’s Eden Arena, a group of West Ham supporters caused mayhem by tossing plastic pint glasses at Fiorentina’s players. These violent behaviors prompted a temporary halt to the competition taking place.

Biraghi Injured by Missile Attack
The situation escalated when Biraghi, preparing to execute a corner kick before half-time, was hit by a missile from the crowd. The Fiorentina captain was visibly injured, suffering a cut on the back of his head which required immediate medical attention and a bandage.
Following the event, a message was broadcast over the stadium’s public address system pleading with spectators to stop throwing things onto the field and to show respect for the players.
