First Day Of Autumn 2020: My Visit To Mount Pelion (Photos)

Autumn is one of my favourite seasons because rainfall is often less in the early autumn than it is in the summer.

With the coronavirus pandemic troubling the world, Tuesday, September 22 is the first actual day of Autumn 2020 so probably schools have resumed while workers who couldn’t travel during summer thinking about holidays.

This ain’t my first time at the Mount Pelion I had my first winter and summer experience in the region.

Pelion or Pelium is considered the most beautiful region in Greece. It has a huge mountain dotted with picturesque traditional villages and fringed by mesmerizing beaches!

Probably the most memorable trip of my life in Europe, Greece. The natural beauty of Pelion is indescribable! Much has been said and written about Pelion, a quick Google search would impress you.

I had already experience spring, winter and summer in Greece but autumn in Pelion almost made me want to live there forever.

• Board a bus in Volos

If you plan to visit Pelion, there is a KTEL bus from Volos to Pelion which leaves from Kiffisou Bus Terminal.

I hope the photos will suffice, because I can write a thousands blog entries about it and it still wouldn’t be to describe the beauty of Pelion. The paradise is full of drinking fountains, plane and apple trees, oaks, gardenias, hydrangeas and camellias.
