The First Lady of the United States, Jill Biden, tested positive with COVID-19 and is displaying only minor symptoms, according to the White House.
In her usual testing on Monday, Dr. Biden initially came back negative for COVID-19, but later that evening, according to officials, she “began to have cold-like symptoms.”
The virus was also detected in a test conducted before the end of July 2022 on her husband, President Joe Biden.
The first lady is reportedly taking Paxlovid and is presently in isolation in accordance with CDC recommendations while residing at a private property in South Carolina.
An additional statement from the White House, seen by Mandy News, claims that President Biden tested negative on Tuesday and will, as scheduled, return to Washington, D.C. The first lady, however, is still in South Carolina.
