Former President GoodLuck Ebele Jonathan is on his way to pick up his nomination form to contest the upcoming All Progress Congress (APC) presidential primary.

The payment for the expression of interest and nomination form was paid on his behalf on Monday morning by some members of the APC from Northern Nigeria, MandyNews has learnt.

They paid the N70,000,000 cost for the nomination form and N30,000,000 for the expression of interest form on behalf of Mr. Goodluck Jonathan, who lost in 2015 as the incumbent president of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to Mohammadu Buhari.

Some prominent social media users have already confirmed that the former President will declare his intention in the next few hours.

Akin Akinwale, a member of the state executive committee in Oyo state, shared the payment details of the Jonathan APC Presidential Nomination Form.

In his tweet sighted by MandyNews, Mr. Akin Akinwale said, “Goodluck Jonathan is running.” This is 100m. “

Ovie, a staunch APC supporter, also confirmed that the Northern Group had picked the N100m APC Presidential Form on behalf of former President GoodLuck Ebele Jonathan.

All presidential aspirants of the ruling party must pay N100,000,000; so far, more than 20 people seeking the presidency have paid for the form.

The announcement of the price of the presidential form has sparked widespread outrage, particularly among voters and opposition parties, since it was made public last week.
