ABUJA, (Mandy News) – Google has removed Nigeria digital currency app from its stores, Mandy News confirmed on Wednesday after a series of poor ratings.
Nearly 48 hours after the eNaira app was launched by the Central Bank of Nigeria, a complaint was lodged by users which led Google to ban the app.
Google Play Store detected that the app has 2.6 over 5 ratings.
The eNaira speed wallet and eNaira merchant wallet were both removed from the play store but still in the Apple store.
Why eNaira App Removed From Play Store
eNaira was deleted after Google found it violating Google Play Developer Policies. eNaira app, a digital currency, was available via the Google Play store in October. The fintech company, Bitt developed app was removed from the Google Play store on Wednesday due to inapt content, comments, and reviews.
