As written by Ambassador Dion Osagie
Governor Godwin Obaseki campaign promises!

1. Creation of over 200,000 new jobs in 4 years through investment in agriculture.

“Obaseki said his administration will reposition agriculture and make Edo the hub of agriculture in the country”
2. Entrepreneurship
“Obaseki said he will support at least 20,000 entrepreneurs over the next 4 years to stimulate the economy through Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.
3. Meeting human basic needs.
“Obaseki said he ensure that salaries are paid as at when due including all outstanding pension owed pensioners will be cleared. Civil servants will also receive their full entitlement immediately after they retire”
4. Healthcare
“Obaseki said he will focus on financing primary healthcare level across the state. Visual and dental health will be integrated into the healthcare policy and master plan”
5. Education
“Obaseki said renovation of school infrastructure already commenced will be completed. He will ensure a continuous maintenance culture for the sustainability of the education infrastructure. He also promised to re-introduce scholarship and payment of bursary in all state-owned higher institutions.
My question is how many of this promises have been achieved because it is almost 4 years.
APC members please don’t rush me, just asking a simple question as a consigned citizen.
