On Thursday, October 20, 2022, the king married Ronke Ademiluyi, the first African Fashion Week founder, as his fifth wife in the palace.
The Ooni’s sixth wife, who was married to the throne, whose name is Adesegun, is a princess who hails from Ijebu land.
Her wedding to the king was the reason Nigerians took to microblogging platforms to make fun of the monarch.
They compared Ooni to King Solomon of the Bible, who had 700 wives and 300 concubines.
They claim that the monarch is about to wed every woman in order to surpass King Solomon’s record.
