What is Iran Saying.
The Iranian government has now confirmed that it did not attempt to target the US consulate. Instead, it claims to have been attempting to hit a Mossad target.
Iran claims that Israel assassinated two of its colonels in Syria recently. Iran responded with this attack. Iran appears to have hit a brand new, unoccupied United States facility adjacent to the Mossad facility.
