A RECENT POST on a US Instagram gossip page Hollywood Unlocked has claimed that Queen Elizabeth, the British Queen is died.

The post has been shared more than 20,000,000 times on social media. But is it true?

The claim: Queen Elizabeth has passed away. She was scheduled to attend the wedding of British Vogue editor Edward Enninful but was found dead.

The story claims that Queen Elizabeth, after being scheduled to attend a wedding following a “Tests Positive For Covid-19“, has died. The post said a source in the palace confirmed her death at Buckingham.

The context

It was widely reported by several established news outlets on 21 February that the British Queen had been tested positive for the deadly coronavirus COVID-19.

The facts

The post by the Hollywood Unlocked claims that Queen Elizabeth of England is dead is false.

Conclusion

The claim that Queen Elizabeth is dead circulated online following news she had contracted coronavirus. Considering the fact her son confirmed on 22 February that the Queen is doing fine, reports of her death are inaccurate.
