More than 10 people are now known to have been killed in the March 28 Abuja Abuja train attack.

At least 970 people were on board—many kidnapped—when terrorists detonated explosives on the Abuja-Kaduna train and opened fire between Katari and Rijana communities.

Mr. Fidet Okhiria, the Managing Director/CEO of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), confirmed the attack but did not go into detail about the victims.
