Feminist Agwabuo, an education reform advocate, has some takes about Kemi Adetiba and Rita Dominic and their husband.
The young Nigerian woman turned to Twitter to express her feelings over two actresses who got married this month.
Her tweet discussed Rita Dominic, who got married at the age of 46 to a newspaper publisher, Fidelis Anosike, and Kemi Adetiba, who got married at the age of 42 to a music producer, Oscar Heman-Ackah.
Agwabuo said that Rita and Kemi are women who know their worth and stick to what they want.
“Kemi Adetiba & Rita Dominic is a clear definition of women who know their worth stick to quality”
From there, the lady who called herself a radical feminist said that looking at Fidelis Anosike and Oscar Heman-Ackah will show you that marriage is the last thing every woman should pursue.
Their partners will show you that as a woman in your 20s, marriage should be d last thing on ur list Pursue ur purpose, make money, lots of it, then settle if I wish. It’s ur choice
In response to her tweet, Omotunde Akiode, a Twitter user, said “My mother married in her 20’s, was the first female engineer from her region, the first female Chairman of the Nigerian Society of Engineers Lagos, and worked in NEPA for 30 years, retiring as one of the top bosses-and she never even had time to carry the label feminist.”
