Lupus patients experience symptoms such as joint stiffness, pain, fatigue, confusion, and depression. The disease’s inflammation can affect a variety of body systems, including your joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, brain, heart, and lungs.
Patients are advised to avoid fried foods, commercial baked goods, creamed soups and sauces, red meat, animal fat, processed meat products, and high-fat dairy foods due to their high saturated fat content. Examples include whole milk, half and half, cheese, butter, and ice cream. One food to avoid is alfalfa sprouts.
While still in university, Kemi Afolabi developed an interest in acting. She was invited to participate in a theatre production by students from the Department of Creative Arts.
She is best known for her role in the film Alagba, but she took a break from acting in 2008.
