Nigeria now has the most reported coronavirus deaths and confirmed cases that any Sub-Saharan Africa country.

The death toll from the coronavirus COVID-19 in Nigeria has risen to 68 after the largest daily increase in fatalities of 10 on Friday, May 1.

Nigeria overtakes Ghana with the highest coronavirus cases and other countries in sub-Saharan Africa.

The country now has 2170 confirmed cases of the COVID-19, discharged 351 & deaths of 68.

238 new cases and 10 new deaths were registered on Friday, May 1.
