Obaseki Mandate Group (OMF) has denied the rumour making the rounds of Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki plan to dump the All Progressives Congress (APC).
OMF said;
“There has been stories making the rounds on some online news media that the “Wake and See” Governor of Edo State, H. E. Godwin Obaseki has picked PDP form to run on the ticket of PDP. FAKE NEWS!
Obaseki Mandate Group (OMF) wish to make it categorically clear that the governor of Edo State is still in APC and no iota of intimidation or blackmail will make him surrender the people’s mandate. He will run for the position in his capacity as the bonified Governorship candidate in the coming election especially the primaries on the platform of APC.”
The leadership of OMF call on members of OMF down to the 2,627 polling units in Edo State, 36 States of the Nigeria plus FCT and the diaspora to discountenance such news as it is the handiwork of mischief-makers.
Obaseki is waxing stronger and getting closer to winning the primaries with a landslide.”
