Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been sacked as manager of Manchester United.
The club confirmed the news following the 4-1 loss to Watford in Premier League on Saturday, with the result leaving the English leader in seventh in the table.
The defeat came on the heels of the loss to Manchester City in last week game, and was given the grace.
In a statement on the red devil website, the club said: “Manchester United can confirm that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has left his role as Manager.
Michael Carrick will now take charge of the team for forthcoming games, while the club looks to appoint an interim manager to the end of the season.
