Governor Akeredolu, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has scored the highest number of votes in Saturday’s Ondo State gubernatorial election.
Mr Akeredolu, (APC), polled a total of 292,839 votes while Eyitayo Jegede of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) garnered 19,3585 votes, leaving margin of 99,254.
Agboola Ajayi of Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) came a distant third with 60,051 votes.
The 2020 Ondo State gubernatorial election occurred on October 10, 2020. Incumbent APC Governor Akeredolu won re-election for a second term.
