Buckingham Palace announced on Thursday that Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II has been placed under medical observation after her medical staff voiced concerns about her health.
The 96-year-old queen is relaxed, according to a statement issued by Birmingham palace and seen by MandyNews.com, although medics are worried about her health. Elizabeth II has been spending the summer at Balmoral Palace in Scotland since July 21. Members of the royal family have been invited there.
In a statement, Buckingham Palace made the following assertion.
The Queen’s four children—Prince Charles, the heir to the throne, Andrew, Anne, and Edward—as well as her grandson William—arrived at Balmoral Palace in Scotland on Thursday.
According to a representative for the pair, Prince Harry and his American-born wife, Meghan Markle, will go to Scotland to be near Queen Elizabeth II.
Camilla, the wife of Charles, and Duchess Catherine, the wife of William, both visited the palace. Camila even canceled an official event she was scheduled to attend this morning in London.
The announcement from Buckingham Palace has already been acknowledged by Liz Truss, the new prime minister of the United Kingdom who was appointed to the position by the Queen on Tuesday.
“The entire country is deeply concerned,” she stated.
“My thoughts are with her and her family at this time.”
Keir Starmer, the head of the nation’s opposition, also stepped out and expressed support for the reigning monarch recovery.
Queen Elizabeth II, who has been in power for 70 years, has suffered health and mobility issues since the end of 2021, which have caused her to postpone or change a number of formal events.
The most recent of these was held on Tuesday, September 6, during the naming ceremony for Liz Trus, the new British Prime Minister.
Elizabeth II moved the ceremony to the Balmoral Palace where she was for the first time in history on that particular occasion. By that moment, Buckingham Palace in London had already appointed all previous prime ministers.
