The government of Rwanda has deployed humanoid robots that will assist in coronavirus screening, deliver food and drugs to patients, also act as video-conferencing links between patients and doctors.
Each of the Rwanda robot for coronavirus has been given Rwandan name – Akazuba, Ikizere, Mwiza, Ngabo & Urumuri.
Rwanda is the only country in Africa using Robots to attend to coronavirus patients.
Rwanda has 308 confirmed cases of Coronavirus, 203 recoveries and no deaths so far.
