The governor of Borno State Babagana Umara Zulum has said that that President Muhammadu Buhari has performed better in handling the state’s security challenge than the Goodluck Jonathan administration.
Recall that Boko Haram recently massacre at least 110 rice farmers in the Garin Kwashebe village of Borno state, Zulum said that statewide records show that Buhari did better on the 27 local government areas in the state since 2011.
He said this while addressing northern elders from the Arewa Consultative Forum in Maiduguri, led by the chairman of the forum’s board of trustee, Ambassador Shehu Malami and the forum’s executive chairman, Chief Audu Ogbeh.
“From statewide statistics on affairs in the 27 local government areas since 2011, the fact is that despite the recent happenings in Borno State, the security situation in Borno State and indeed that of the Entire North East Sub-region is still far better under Buhari, and this is based on records.”
