A rumor is going around on social media that Seun, the owner of Nairaland, has fired one of its well-known administrators, Lalasticlala.
MandyNews found the accusations on Facebook, Twitter, and the Nairaland comment section.
The rumor started when people saw that the admin, who is very active in the animals category, had gone silent for some time and hadn’t posted anything since November 2021.
In October, one of Nairaland’s more vocal users accused Seun of being a bigot and questioned him about why he fired Lalasticlala.
Innocentman86, a Nairaland member, initiated a thread in September asking “where is Lalasticlala and who is Nlfpmod?“
In response to the query, Seun Osewa wrote in the comments section that “nlfpmod and lalasticlala are actually from the same part of the country.
His remark elicited a range of responses from users of the site, some of which are listed below:
- “The person you are supposed to sack you didn’t sack is the best moderator you sacked.
- You know who I’m talking about.
- That guy you are supposed to sack is too lazy,tribalistik and even hated in these forum.
- I sincerely miss lasticlala.”
- “Tribalistic Seun and Mynd44 connived to sack lalasticlala because he is detrabilized and neutral unlike the agbado munching Mynd44 and Dominique. They sacked him because he is Igbo. They replaced him with another ethnic champion called Nlfpmod who has continued to ban Igbos anyhow while at the same time giving Afonjas free hand to do as they like. Nairaland is anti Igbo.”
However, Lalasticlala and the individual who took his place, Nlfpmod, are both from the eastern region of Nigeria, according to information obtained by MandyNews.
While conducting additional research to learn what caused Lalasticlala to be fired or replaced, MandyNews came across various remarks made by people ridiculing the once-celebrated forum administrator.
In another information obtained by Mandy News, Lalasticlala was said to have left the forum to pursue his other life objectives.
However, the Igbo-born snake-lover can still be seen on Twitter and Instagram with the bio “Nairaland admin” in place.
Regardless of the fact that we think he is having a fantastic time with his family, it is likely that he took a break and wanted to begin a new chapter in his life.
