Video Of Gunna Snitching In Court Goes Viral

Sergio Giavanni Kitchens, better known by his stage name as Gunna, the American rapper, took the witness stand this week in his widely reported legal proceeding.

The rapper, who was signed to Young Thug’s record company YSL Records as well as 300 Entertainment and Atlantic Records, was spotted in court answering questions while wearing a black dress, with the majority of them being “Yes ma’am.”

Fortunately, there was also an audio record that had transcripts available online that went along with the now-viral footage.

Gunna has been accused of being a snitch by a large number of people after confessing to questions when he was asked, “And you have personal knowledge that members of YSL have committed crimes?” and said “Yes.”

He can be heard saying “Yes, ma’am” in response to each of the questions that were put to him in court.

Gunna and Young Thug were two of 28 people connected to YSL who were accused under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) in a 56-count indictment in May 2022.

Gunna surrendered to the law enforcement agencies on May 11, 2022.

The trial for Gunna was set to start on January 9, 2023, and he was denied bail.

Gunna was once more denied release from custody on October 13, 2022, in advance of his trial in January.

On December 14, 2022, Gunna entered a plea of guilty to one count of racketeering and was given a sentence of five years in prison, with one year being commuted to time already served, and the remaining three years suspended subject to probation requirements, including 500 hours of community service. He was also granted release from prison on the same day.

Georgia’s College Park is the place of Gunna’s birth. In addition to having four older brothers, he was reared by his mother. At age fifteen, he began to compose music.
