The president fled his official residence on Saturday shortly before angry protestors who were enraged by an unusual economic crisis overtook the property and seized the president’s neighboring office, he left his official residence.
In the various videos that MandyNews.com was able to obtain, tens of thousands of people surrounded the leader’s residence and demanded his resignation, blaming poor government administration for the economic downturn that has caused the island nation’s 22 million residents to endure months of excruciating hardship.
In the now-viral footage, the president’s staff is seen carrying his luggage to the ship as he tries to take off.
