Taylor Swift is back. The pop superstar has released her tenth studio album, Midnights, on Republic Records.
There are 13 tracks in the Midnights standard version.
The 32-year-old artist released also second version of the album with seven extra songs.
The seven tracks are titled “The Great War,” “Bigger Than The Whole Sky,” “Paris,” “High Infidelity,” “Glitch,” “Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve,” and “Dear Reader.”
Together with Jack Antonoff, Taylor Swift co-wrote and produced the concept album Midnights, which she characterized as a “journey through terrors and wonderful dreams” and “13 sleepless nights” of her life.
From September 21 to October 7, 2022, Swift shared the track list through a TikTok series titled Midnights Mayhem with Me. Lana Del Rey is featured on “Snow on the Beach,” the fourth song.
On October 21, seven additional tunes that MandyNews.com had gotten via her Twitter feed were unexpectedly made available on streaming services.
In order to get a dazzling look for Midnights, Swift sought inspiration from 1970s style. On October 20, a trailer was published, previewing a number of album-related imagery. The first single, “Anti-Hero,” had its music video debut on October 21, 2022.
What Taylor Swift wrote on Instagram about the album.
“Surprise! I think of Midnights as a complete concept album, with those 13 songs forming a full picture of the intensities of that mystifying, mad hour. However! There were other songs we wrote on our journey to find that magic 13. I’m calling them 3am tracks. Lately I’ve been loving the feeling of sharing more of our creative process with you, like we do with From The Vault tracks. So it’s 3am and I’m giving them to you now”
