Terrorists in Northern Nigeria attacked an Abuja-Kaduna train with roughly 1000 passengers on board.
According to one of the Passengers on board, there have been reports of explosions and heavy shooting.
Government security troops have been deployed on the ground, and attackers are said to have been repulsed.

Suspected terrorists effectively immobilized an Abuja-Kaduna train by detonating an explosive on the railtrack.
On Monday night, one of the passengers confirmed the attack on Facebook, stating it took place between Katari and Rijana.
According to the passenger who verified the attack, the gunmen surrounded the train and fired intermittently.
The train has at least 970 passengers on board.
Muhammad Amin Mahmood, who was also an aspirant at the just concluded APC Convention for the Northwest Zonal Youth Leadership, was shot.
He was also onboard the attacked train.
