Terrorists launched a helicopter attack and burned down houses and churches in Southern Kaduna on Wednesday, killing dozens of people, according to the Guidian News.
During the attack, over 30 people were killed and many more were injured in a small town named Adara.
According to sources, the terrorists burned properties in the neighborhood, including the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA).
What happened: According to a statement obtained by MandyNews.com, while the armed attackers carried out their operations in some locations, locals in Maikori village mobilized to repel the terrorists and were already recording some successes as they took control of the situation.
Surprisingly, a helicopter emerged and began air strikes against the indigenous people who were attempting to protect themselves.
This, according to Maisamari, caused the youths to flee in search of safety, allowing the invaders to burn down the entire community.
According to reports, the community assembled to conduct a mass burial for the deaths, but gunmen stormed again and kidnapped a large number of people.
According to the statement, the attackers have not yet made contact with the victims’ families. The Nigeria Air Force has been urged to conduct an investigation into the situation.
Awemi Maisamari, National President of Adara Development Association (ADA), stated in a statement on Wednesday that the attack was carried out by Fulani terrorists.
He stated that the assault began around midday and continued unabated until around 6:00 p.m. Initially, the attackers arrived on 150 motorcycles, each carrying three armed men.
No public official had responded to the issue as of the time of this publication.
Let’s continue to pray for God to intervene.
