As the Nurse in Lil Wayne’s Dr Carter’s song would say, “Looks like it’s gonna be a long day.”
Because of how things currently stand, they are about to proceed in a manner similar to that which occurred to President Muhammadu Buhari.
I’m sure you’ve heard of the Tinubu Certificate Scandal or saga; we’ll go into more detail about what transpired below.
This month of June, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) requested for Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s certificate.
In response, the presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) informed the commission that his credentials had been stolen while he was living in exile.
In his sworn declaration supporting his candidacy form, Tinubu claimed that five years after his return he couldn’t find his certificate, according to an article seen by MandyNews.com on New Telegraph.
- “went on self-exile from October 1994 to October 1999 (and) when I returned and discovered that my property including all the documents relating to my qualification and my certificates in respect of paragraph 3 above were looted by unknown persons.”
In a document that MandyNews.com got, Mr. Tinubu omitted details about his primary and secondary education but claimed that he studied at the University of Chicago from 1972 to 1976, earning a B.Sc. in Economics.
In addition, he claimed to hold a certificate in public accounting and a B.Sc. in business and administration.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu, according to Chief Bode George, doesn’t have a primary, a secondary education certificate, and a university degree.
