Is Trump back on Twitter? Your question has a resounding “YES” in the answer.
Donald Trump’s Twitter account was reactivated on Saturday by Twitter’s new owner, Elon Musk.
“The people have spoken. Trump will be restored,” The billionaire posted on Twitter after polling his followers about whether Trump should rejoin the site.
The former president was re-activated with 58% of the vote out of a total of 15 million. Musk ended by saying in Latin, “Voice of the People, Voice of God.”
On January 8, 2021, Twitter removed Trump’s profile (@realDonaldTrump), two days after his supporters violently stormed the Congress of the United States, which led to the deaths of five people.
“After careful review of recent @realDonaldTrump tweets and the context surrounding them, we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement to violence,” the company said at the time.
Despite the fact that Trump hasn’t posted anything on Twitter yet, congratulations are pouring in from his followers who are eagerly anticipating his first tweet.
