Unknown Gunmen Endorses Godwin Emefiele For President, Ready To “surrender Our Arms”

Unknown gunmen delivered an endorsement of Godwin Emefiele in a viral video sighted by MandyNews on Friday, handing the CBN Governor more critics to his presidential ambition.

“We are tired of recycling politicians in the system. We have settled for the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Ifeanyi Emefiele. If he is truly contesting, and the rumours are true, we believe that he will bring meaningful development and help the country get back on its feet,” the leader of the gunmen said in a video message.

The gunmen, who are suspected to be so-called Niger Delta freedom fighters, said that the Delta-born economist is the only genuine candidate capable of resolving Nigeria’s numerous challenges if elected to succeed Buhari.
