A video of kidnapped children discovered in an underground church in Ondo has gone viral on social media.
According to a story seen by MandyNews.com, the youngsters were discovered on Friday night in an underground apartment of a church in the Valentino Area of Ondo town, Ondo State.
According to the report, the kids are said to have been abducted and kept in the church’s underground apartment.
According to information found by MandyNews.com, the police were able to rescue the kidnapped victims, who were all over 50, and then they apprehended the pastor and some church members.
However, a lot of northern Nigerians and some supporters of the government of Nigeria have gone to social media to criticize those who aren’t speaking out against the kidnapped children.
The children are seen in the now-viral video being driven to the police station by a patrol car of the force.
A voice can be heard saying, “They are kidnapped children found in the underground cell of a church in the Valentino Area of Ondo,” in the one minute, forty second video. The pastor and a few churchgoers were detained, along with a police officer in a patrol van.
According to Mrs. Funmilayo Odunlami, the state command’s public relations officer, who was reached by Punch News in Nigeria, the victims had been carried to the command’s Akure headquarters.
