Davido has unfollowed Wizkid and 2Baba on Instagram, the popular free photo and video sharing platform, and fans are outraged.
Mandy News, on the other hand, can’t think of anything other than the Qatar World Cup 2022 official song as the cause.
Davido seems to have expected everyone in the music industry to congratulate him on becoming the first African to sing and perform in a World Cup song.
However, because none of his industry colleagues had applauded him, the singer chose to unfollow the two Afrobeat legends on Instagram, according to observant fans.
Davido and Wizkid have been feuding for a long time, ever since they got into a social media spat a few years back.
Many other celebrities who are acquainted with both of them have been put in the awkward situation of having to choose who to support between the two stars.
Despite the fact that many of them would prefer to remain neutral and avoid becoming embroiled in the feud, a select few have declared their loyalties.
Wizkid recently met with everyone in the music industry, even those whom he had offended, to appeal for peace in order to promote his new album, “more love, less ego.”
He even reconciled with Davido. They met at Club Quilox, a fancy Victoria Island nightclub.
The three stars, Davido, Burna Boy, and Wizkid, reunited with the support of Tony Elumelu, who reconnected them as friends, and they both vowed to push for love this year.
Burna Boy also revealed to his fans that he and Davido have reconciled their differences and are now pals.
Davido has been spotted multiple times complimenting 2Baba for opening the road for them, but he has never reciprocated.
However, the 46-year-old African Queen singer has been seen numerous times admiring Wizkid, even uploading pictures of him while complimenting his dress.
So, has 2Baba taken his side in the feud? Is there something Davido is doing to them that the rest of the world is unaware of?
Even though Wizkid refused to congratulate, we’ll understand, but 2Baba is fond of making comments, even in comedian skits on Instagram.
In any case, we hope they are able to resolve their differences.
