A widening rift between Ebele Obiano and Bianca Ojukwu erupted during the inauguration of Anambra state’s new governor on Thursday morning.
The squabble began after former first lady of Anambra Ebele approached Bianca over her statement last year to mark the posthumous birthday of her late husband, a source told MandyNews.
She allegedly slapped Bianca in the face and tore her clothes as she called her “Ashawo,” before being separated by prominent politicians, who came for the sixth inauguration of the State Governor.
After Ebele Obiano and Bianca Ojukwu were separated during the fight, Ebele walked to Bianca, calling her “Ashawo,” which means prostitute.
According to eyewitnesses, the altercation occurred immediately after Soludo took his oath of office at the state government house in Agu-Awka.
In a social media video, Ebele, who was wearing a white gown, is seen sitting down after being separated.
Within seconds, the action drew the attention of security agents and some personalities.
Mrs. Obiano was later taken away, and shortly afterwards, her husband left the venue since the incident happened after the new governor had been sworn in.
