Everything began in September 2022, nine months after Prophetess Seyi Naomi proclaimed on Instagram that she was divorcing the Ooni of Ife, when the Ooni of Ife welcomed Mariam Anako, an Ebira-born queen, to his castle on the island of Ife.

He married six additional ladies in the following three weeks after welcoming Mariam.

Mariam Anako and Dr. Elizabeth Akinmuda were married in September by the king.

He wedded Queen Ashley, Queen Ronke Ademiluyi, and Queen Tobi Phillips in October.

Princess Temitope Adesegun is his sixth wife while another lady is on the way to take the seventh position.

Bella Nifemi, a medical professional, submitted a request to the ruler.

If chosen as his wife, she pledged to uphold Twitter and the Ekiti community.

“I hereby submit to be Ooni’s eighth wife. I will do a good job of representing Twitter and the Ekiti community because I am also a doctor.
