Burna Boy, Fireboy DML, Rema, CKay, Tems, Young Stunna, and Busiswa are among the musicians on the new Black Panther soundtrack album.
Only a few days remain until the release of the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever – Music From and Inspired From soundtrack, and the impressive track list, which was announced on Wednesday November 2, includes tracks by Tems, Fireboy DML, OG DAYV, Future, CKay, PinkPantheress, E-40, and many more.
The late Panther actor Chadwick Boseman, who passed away from colon cancer at the age of 43 in 2020, is honored on the soundtrack with the support of Rihanna’s “Lift Me Up,” which was co-written by Nigerian singer Tems.
Recording sessions were organized in Lagos, Nigeria; Mexico City, Mexico; and Abbey Road Studios in London because the impending movie’s plot is influenced by Mesoamerican and Nigerian traditions.
Producers worked in collaboration with international musicians from Lagos, such as Tems, as well as up-and-coming rappers from Mexico City and rapper Pat Boy, who raps exclusively in Mayan. According to a news release, the audience will hear more than 250 musicians, two orchestras, two choirs, and more than 40 vocalists throughout the entire movie.
On November 11, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever premieres in theaters.
The soundtrack’s complete track listing can be seen below. It will be released on November 4 by Roc Nation Records, Def Jam Recordings, and Hollywood Records.
