It’s official — after more than two years of marriage, actresses Nkechi Blessing Sunday and Opeyemi Falegan announced their separation on their Instagram stories in April 2022.

Why Did Why Nkechi Blessing Sunday And Her Husband Broke Up?
On April 6, Opeyemi Falegan, the husband, came to Instagram to announce the breakup of his marriage to actress Nkechi Blessing.
The whole drama started when a Nigerian anonymous Instagram blog, Gistlover, revealed that the new brand ambassador deal Nkechi Blessing got was because she was sleeping with the owner of the brand.
Falegan stated during a live broadcast on his Instagram page that he has a name to defend and does not want it to be associated with any controversy.
He said:
- “I don’t want to be known for any notoriety or anything controversial.
- I have a name. My name is my pride.
- “I want to be known as someone who has added value to people and who will keep doing the work for people.
- I have a name that I’m trying to protect here.
- Anything at all, husband of…Where did you see the husband? “
In response to her estranged husband’s comments, the 33-year-old actress resorted to Instagram for a live broadcast.
During the live broadcast, Nkechi disclosed more details about her estranged hubby, Mr Falegan Opeyemi, including how he buys economy and goes to shoot photos in business class, among other things.
