Justice Tanko Muhammad, the Nigerian country’s chief justice, has resigned.
According to Channels Television, Justice Muhammad submitted his letter of resignation on Sunday evening and stated that he was leaving due to illness.
Additionally, according to information obtained by MandyNews.com, preparations are being made for Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, the next-highest ranking justice on the Supreme Court, to be sworn in as acting Chief Justice of Nigeria.
A formal announcement is reportedly going to be made soon.
