MandyNews.com sighted a trending report by An ace broadcast journalist and crime watch presenter, Mr Festus Alenkhe, on the Massacre that occurred in Afuze.

8 out of the ten suspected killers that invaded Afuze in Edo state few days ago have been arrested by the police in Edo state. Of particular reference is the man that pulled the trigger which killed the pregnant police woman sergeant.

It was revealed that trouble started when the police in Afuze arrested one of the gang members and detained him in the cell for a related crime.

The suspect was said to contacted the leader of the gang who came to appeal to the DPO for bail. He was said to have offered some money for bail but the DPO turned it down and requested for the case to be transfered to the state CID in Benin for further investigation .

Infuriated with the refusal, the leader of the gang directed his men who were outside to unleash mayhem on the police station which led to the killings of 4 policemen on duty. All the suspects arrested so far are from Edo state. Kudos to the Edo state police tactical teams and the commissioner of police cp M Danmallam.
