Wizkid might be sending shots at Davido’s way on the new Burna Boy song “Ballon d’Or.”
The highly anticipated collab dropped yesterday Tuesday (December 14, 2021) on the upcoming album, a follow-up to the Grammy-winning album, Twice As Tall, which will arrive next year. On the track, Wizzy appears to take a shot at his frienemy Davido.

“I neva see person wey fit money impress me,” Wizkid voice over the P2J, Richard Olowaranti Mbu Isong-produced track. “All of the things she dey do, she dey test me.”
Both Wizkid and Davido are the top richest musicians in Africa. The Ojuelegba singer appears to be referencing Davido’s money-bragging lifestyle with the follow-up line, “All of the things Davido dey do, he dey test me.” Regardless, “All of the things she dey do, she dey test me” could also be referring to Davido as a woman.
In late October last year, when Wizkid dropped his last album Made In Lagos, Davido confirmed his A Better Time album was done while also sending out some subliminal messages. “Shey na emoji you want or classic?” Davido said on Twitter when asked to request for the Twitter emoji logo to promote his song because Twitter created an emoji for Made In Lagos and other Wizkid hashtags.
Twenty-two days before the A Better Time album dropped, the phrase “album will swallow album” was used by Davido’s boy after the release of Wizkid’s highly anticipated album “Made in Lagos.”
His beef with Wizkid—and, by extension, 30 BG gang & Wizkid FC—exploded. Undeniable, A Better Time was cluttered with subliminal diss songs like ‘FEM’ throwing shots at Burna Boy. David was seen again in a viral video saying he was richer than Burna Boy and Wizkid: “no be say dem no get money but e no choke”

One of Davido’s boys popularly known as Aloma took to social media to mock Wizkid by claiming that the wristwatch he bought for his manager is fake.
Davido decided to flaunt his Richard Millie wristwatch with his friends throwing shades at Wizkid in a video as it can be seen here.
Wizkid never responded to several shots from Davido and his 30 billion gang members, until this new song Ballon d’Or with Burna Boy which has only one line that honestly shots at Davido.
How did Wizkid and Davido beef start?
On July 5, 2017, Davido jabbed at Wizkid on summer body’s “with Yankee passport, dem sey we local.” Wizzy responded by tweeting “My people make una remember say Yankee passport no be baba blue, e no dey cure frog voice.”
