The Changsha headquarters of China Telecom, the country’s largest telecom provider, is on fire. The fire might burn hundreds of people to death.
According to official media, a large fire has started in a skyscraper in the Chinese city of Changsha in the center of the country. The media also stated that the number of casualties is presently unknown.
According to the report obtained by MandyNews.com the fire spread to a towering structure that houses a branch of the state-owned telecoms corporation China Telecom.
A picture published by Chinese Cable Television showed black smoke billowing into the sky and flames tearing through the structure in a populated region of the city.
The exterior of the skyscraper appeared to be scorched black in a video that Mandy News was able to obtain and which a local news outlet released on social media.

There are about 10 million people living in Changsha, the provincial capital of Hunan.
The structure, which was finished in 2000, had a 218-meter height record for Changsha (715 feet). It has two floors below ground and 42 stories above it.
