A Dana Airlines plane burst into flames as it was about to take off at Port Harcourt International Airport.

The video of the plane that caught fire on Monday, May 2nd at 9 p.m. has emerged, prompting questions about why Dana Airlines’ planes are always in trouble.

This comes as footage emerged from the plane that burst into flames in River State with dozens of Nigerians on board.

Recall A Dana Air flight crashed in Lagos in 2012, killing all 153 passengers and crew members.

How it happened

At Port Harcourt International Airport, a Dana Airlines plane caught fire as it was about to take off.

According to the airline representative, the pilot followed all urgent safety protocols and assisted passengers in disembarking peacefully. There were no reported injuries.
