Big Brother Naija, formerly known as Big Brother Nigeria, is one of the most dramatic and entertaining reality tv shows of the year in entertainment. Consistently producing of celebrities and millionaires, past seasons have produced stars like Katung Aduwak (2016), Michael Efe Ejeba (2017) Miracle Igbokwe (2018), Mercy Eke (2018) and Olamilekan “Laycon” Agbeleshe Adele making history with the organizers with over over 900 million votes (2020).

The show has also come under attack in recent years, over the disqualification of a housemate with a huge fanbase. Season 4 Peper Dem, former BBNaija housemates Tacha Akide, slammed the Nigerian reality competition television series claimed that the votes given to the housemates during the show don’t really count, during 2019 show Tacha was disqualified from the House after over the fight with Mercy Eke, the winner of the fourth season. John Ugbe, the Managing Director for MultiChoice Nigeria responded by revealing the numbers of voters who voted in season five.

With all this and Laycon the winner scoring a record 60% of the total votes cast and went home with the ₦85 million grand prize, millions of Nigerian are anticipating 2021 show. Here’s what we know so far about the BBNaija season 6 2021.

 Season 6 will be held on Monday, 21 June 2021

Despite the second wave of the coronavirus COVID-19, the BBNaija season 6 will be broadcast live from Lagos State, where it’s was hosted last year with 20 housemates and lasted 71 days. “Rain or shine, COVID-19 vaccine or not… Whether or not there will be a live audience or red carpet will be determined and revealed closer to the big day,” says the Grammys website.

When is the BBNaija 2021?

The reality TV show fifth season was slated on 19 July 2020 and season six will be held Monday, Monday, 21 June at 8 p.m.

BBNaija season 6 host

For the past three years, lawyer and first big brother Naija season housemate Ebuka Obi-Uchendu has fronted the show, and before him, Olisa Adibua was the first to presents season one. While 2021’s host is yet to be announced, we are betting on Ebuka or Bovi.

The housemates have not been confirmed

While no names have been announced as yet, we can expect to see singers, lawyers, entrepreneurs, dancers, comedians, social media influencers, actresses and actors on the list.
