His arrest followed his confession that he helped a chief kidnap the 25-year-old nurse trainee, bury her in the chief’s room, and then helped the chief hide the body.

The exhumation of Georgina Asor Botchwey’s dead remains took place on Tuesday, September 20 after the pastor led investigators to the room of Nana Crack, the Tufohene of Ekumfi Akwakrom.

According to reports, the two may have kidnapped her, had various sexual encounters with her, and then killed her.

The chief, who is presently on the run, had her buried in one of his chambers.

According to reports, the body has been buried for the last three weeks. Residents are concerned about the situation, especially because a chief is involved.

Cephas Arthur, a legislator from the region, requested that the inspector general of police (IGP) increase security in Mankessim and the surrounding area.

According to him, this is the fifth occurrence of this kind to occur in the neighborhood this year, therefore it is not the first.

According to him, if the pastor and the chief are found, the law must deal with them.
