IGP Interdicts Police Officers Over Torturing Man Accused Of Stealing ₦100k

The Inspector General of Police of the Ghana Police Service ,has ordered the interdiction of the two Officers who was filmed whipping a Young man,who was allegedly accused of stealing GH¢1,600.

The trending story and video posted by MandyNews.com has received a mixed reaction from social media users.

Others believe the Police officers did the right thing by whipping the alleged thief with a belt, whiles others also believe that the act was wrong.

In an official Press Statement released by the Ghana Police Servicea as sighted by MANDY NEWS, the two officers namely ,Sergeant Patrick Amoako and Lance Corporal Isaac Marfo have been interdicted by the IGP.
