The case involving the separatist leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu has been adjourned to the 19th and 20th of January 2022 by the federal high court in Abuja in Accra.
Mr Kanu the leader of the outlawed IPOB group make his third court appearance today since the law enforcement agencies in Nigeria brought him back to the country from Kenya in June.

What Is Kanu Accused Of?
Buhari led federal government accused Nnamdi Kanu that he want secession from Nigeria and also said he broadcast lies about President Muhammadu Buhari.
He was also accused of being a member of an outlaw group. Most of his accusations are the things he said during broadcasts from radio Biafra in London.
What Charges Were Brought Against Nnamdi Kanu
Nnamdi Kanu was arrested for treason charges in 2015 before he was granted bail by the federal high in April 2017.
On the 18 of October, the federal government of Nigeria add more charges, these are the amended charges below.
- It says Nnamdi Kanu used radio broadcasts from London and boast about separating southeast, south-south and some parts of Kogi and Benue states from Nigeria to form Biafra nation.
- It says that Nnamdi Kanu used the radio broadcast from London to insult Nigeria President Muhammdu Buhari; called him a “paedophile, a terrorist, an idiot and an embodiment of evil.”
- It says Nnamdi Kanu imported a radio transmitter from London and installed it in Ihiala, Anambra state.
- It says Nnamdi Kanu declared himself a member of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), a group proscribed by the government.
- It says Nnamdi Kanu committed terrorism during his broadcast in London to promote members of IPOB to attack Nigeria security operatives and family members.
- It says Nnamdi Kanu committed terrorism for boasting that people will die during his broadcasts in London.
- It says Nnamdi Kanu used radio broadcasts from London to commit an act of terrorism by declaring sit-at-home and threatening death on people who disobey the order.
