More than 30 women has been arrested by Hisbah in northwestern Nigeria, Jigawa for whoredom on Tuesday, February 11.
34 women, 147 bottles of alcohol and empty beer bottles were seized by Jigawa State Sharia Enforcement Command Hisbah.
Malam Ibrahim Dahiru, the Commander of Hisbah in Dutse, reveals in an interview with the media.
“Today; at about 5:00 AM, our men carried out a raid at the popular Gada joint in Kazaure LGA, during the raid, 34 suspected commercial sex workers and three men were arrested for alleged immoral acts”, he said.
