According to the outcome made public by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), William Ruto has won the 2022 Kenyan presidential election.
Ruto earned 7,176,141 of the total votes cast in the election, which featured a total of four candidates. His nearest rival, Odinga Raila, received 6,942,930 votes, giving him an amazing victory margin of 233,211.
George Luchiri Wajackoyah of the Roots Party of Kenya came a distant third with a total of 61,969 votes.
Four of the seven members of the electoral board disagreed with the results, despite the fact that William Ruto had been pronounced the winner.
