A notorious kidnapper, Chukwudi Dumee Onuamadike, known as Evans, has been sentenced to death by an Ikeja, Lagos State High Court on Thursday, according to a report.
Evans was arrested in Lagos in June 2017 by the Inspector General of Police Special Intelligence Response Team (IRT) of the Nigeria police force he was described as a very smart, skillful, and intelligent kidnapper ever in the country.
The native of Nnewi, Anambra State had 52 charges of multiple murders, armed robberies, kidnappings, unlawful possession of firearms, unlawful possession of ammunition, conspiracy, among other charges.
The Court on Thursday issued a final ruling upholding a death sentence for Evans.
