BORNO, Nigeria (Mandy News) — There are indications that the Alpha jet of the Nigerian Air Force that went missing twenty-four hours ago found to have crashed at Abba-Jille in Konduga LGA of Borno State.
The Alpha jet took off from Nigerian Air Force Base in north-eastern Nigeria Wednesday evening (Wednesday, March 31, 2021) and disappeared from the radar screen later.
The data recorder’s location of the crash is approx 30Kms outskirt from the city of Maiduguri.
However, there was no word yet on the fate of the pilot and co-pilot, whether they ejected safely or have been captured by insurgency fighters.
