Protesters Storm Abuja House, Demand President Buhari Return Home

LONDON (Mandy News): Dozens of demonstrators have marched in the Abuja House, 2 Campden Hill, Kensington, London demanding President Muhammadu Buhari’s return home.

The protest of about 100 Nigerians in Kensington on Friday was led by a Nigerian broadcaster and former presidential aide, Reno Omokiri.

 

The demonstration was broadcast live on his Twitter page, with protesters making demands: the repatriation of Buhari, he should go fix the hospitals in Nigeria and also pay the doctors on strike.

Reno called Buhari a “frightened general who refused to come out from the house,” seemingly referring to the countries president who refused to address them at the rally, and Mr Omokri added: ” General @MBuhari is not running a government. He is running a criminal enterprise. He killed #EndSARS protesters and now he is in London to secure his life? Send the coward back to fix the mess he created”.

Protesters have even vowed not to leave the Abuja House until the President is sent back to Africa’s most populous country:

Mandy News gathered no arrests or clashes with police were reported but the British law enforcement agency were at Friday’s rally.
